ELECTRONIC MEDIA DESIGN
PLANNING
This phase of the project consists of information-gathering activities to determine the requirements, objectives, as well as outlining the hierarchy and flow of the work to be performed. This phase is vital to the long-term success of the project, since it truly defines the goals and determines the "feel" of the communications package. When we present the Strategic Planning for review and approval, our customers will have the opportunity to discuss options with us and make suggestions for improvement.
Deliverables:
- Mission Statement describing the overall purpose and objective of the project.
- Audience Identification describing the target audience and the desired value of the information being communicated to the audience.
- Goals Document detailing the ideally desired outcome of the project.
- Design Flowchart showing the visual outline of the electronic media design including major and minor sections and the relationship of all the elements in the project.
DESIGN
This phase deals with the exploration of the “look and feel” of the project. How should colour combination be addressed, graphics blending, logo design, navigation process, text format and layout be put together.
Deliverables:
- Three design layout options to choose from
PRODUCTION
Once you have selected the design layout, this full production kicks in. Writing of copy’s and content, collation of products and presentation materials comes in.
Deliverable:
- Version 0.0 (Alpha Version of Electronic Media) a usable but subject to changes or modification version.
TESTING
Actual Testing of the Electronic Media Product. This is where the product is evaluated to the fullest extent prior to completion and actual mass production.
Deliverables:
- Version 0.1 (Beta Version of Electronic Media)
- Evaluation Report
DELIVERY
The final output of the product together with documentation and manuals.
Deliverables:
- Version 1.0 (Production Version of the Electronic Media)
- Users Manual (Electronic Version)
